Pharmacy First is an NHS service that allows patients to receive treatment for minor illnesses and conditions directly from their local pharmacy, without needing to make a GP appointment.

At Cattedown Pharmacy, our trained pharmacists can now assess and treat a range of common conditions under the NHS Pharmacy First service. This means faster access to healthcare for you and your family.

Conditions We Can Treat:

  • Sinusitis
  • Sore throat
  • Earache
  • Infected insect bite
  • Impetigo
  • Shingles
  • Urinary tract infection (UTI)

How Does It Work?

Simply visit Cattedown Pharmacy and speak to one of our pharmacists. We will assess your symptoms and, where appropriate, provide treatment including prescription-only medicines.

This service is available to patients registered with a GP in England.
